Travel

In October, 2006, I attended the Board Meeting for the Midwives Alliance followed by the MANA 2006 Conference held at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. After the conference, my granddaughter, Danielle, joined me for a week of play.

In May, 2006, we attended the ACNM Conference.

In April, 2006, I went to Asilomar in Pacific Grove, CA, for the Spring Board Meeting of the Midwives Alliance of North America.

In July, 2005, I went to Brisbane, Australia for the International Confederation of Midwives Council Meeting and Congress. Fred joined me for some vacation time after the meetings.New Orleans, LA for the

When my dear friends, Dick and Dotti Olsen, heard that I was going to be in Austin, Texas for the MANA Board Meeting and Conference, they invited me to join them for 10 days of sailing in the Sea of Cortez before going to Texas! It was the trip of a lifetime!

In June, 2003, I went to Chicago, IL to speak at the MANA Region 4 Conference.

In May, 2003, I went to Palm Desert, CA (near Palm Springs) for the annual ACNM (American College of Certified Nurse-Midwives) Conference.

In April, 2003, I went to Scottsdale, Arizona for the MANA Spring Board Meeting (Midwives Alliance of North America) and the Joint Board Meeting of MANA, NARM (North American Registry of Midwives), MEAC (Midwifery Education and Accreditation Council), CfM (Citizens for Midwifery), and FAM (Foundation for the Advancement of Midwifery).

In October 2002. I traveled to Wakefield, Massachuetts (just north of Boston) for the Board Meeting and Conference of the Midwives Alliance of North America (MANA).

In September 2002. I traveled to Orlando, Florida for the Ardsley High School Class of 1962 40th Reunion.

In April, 2002, I traveled to Vienna, Austria, for the Congress of the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) to represent the Midwives Alliance of North America (MANA). Following the ICM Congress, Debbie Pulley and I traveled to Venice, Italy for a week of sightseeing and play.

In September 2001, I traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico for the Board Meeting and Conference of the Midwives Alliance of North America (MANA). Following the meeting, my grandson, Ray (16) joined me for a week of play!

Okay, so this really isn't "travel"...but there are some great photos of the MANA Audit held at my house in April, 2001!

In March, 2001, I traveled to San Diego, California for a week of visiting with friends and the Joint Board Meeting of the Midwives' Alliance of North America (MANA), North American Registry of Midwives (NARM), Midwifery Education Accreditation Council (MEAC) and Citizens for Midwifery (CfM).

In November, 2000, I traveled to Clearwater Beach, Florida for the Board Meeting and Conference of the Midwives Alliance of North America (MANA). Following the meeting, Fred joined me for a week of vacation.

In May, 1999, I traveled to Manila in the Philippines, for the International Confederation of Midwives Congress. Following the meeting, we visited the island of Cebu in the Philippines and toured the childbirth services available on Cebu.
